3 months in so I feel like I can write an accurate reviewSo convenient, worth every penny.Yes it's heavy, but so are all the baby carriers. It's worth a little extra muscle power to have the benefit of rolling around 98% of the time.I found the base much more secure then the other carseats we've tried due to it's unique design. There may be a bit of a learning curve , just expand and collapse it a few times before attempting to use it. Also there are plenty of videos onlineMy favorite part about having this carseat stroller is that I can very quickly have a free hand to keep big sister close so I don't have to choose which child to hold onto in public. When there is enough space and time the handle bar can be low enough for big sister to push baby around at the perfect height

Saw this first on Facebook and we were expecting so naturally we started our search for the best price and value. Sure some other sites were alittle cheaper but Amazon had prime and hassle-free returns. As soon as our son was born we immediately put the stroller/carseat to work. For these last 2 weeks we have put our newborn in and out of the doona multiple times and each time it's been a godsend to not have to take him out of the carseat when we get to our location. I've had numerous people comment on the doona and ask how it works along with demos of it. The only bad comment I've had about it is that it is heavy for some. Then again that comment was from a 100lb woman and I'm a 300lb man so I have no problem getting the doona in and out of my truck. It's a shame that my son will out grow it in a year or so but eventually we will have another little one that will get to enjoy our doona.

I love it! It is so easy to use and beautiful. Definitely worth my money, I recommend this car seat stroller to all mommies! Don’t hesitate because of the price, this is definitely a life saver! Since getting a Doona I cannot go back to regular car seats! It came with the baby head and body insert, latch base, &’ vehicle seat protector. Absolutely gorgeous.

Let me clearly state that this has been the best and most satisfying purchase I’ve ever made in Amazon (and probably everywhere else). It arrived just the day the baby was born, and so we were able to come out of the hospital with the baby in it the next day. It was amazing having learned how to use it right away. We had a 15 minute walk from the hospital to our home and we chose to go that way instead of using a car. Since then we have been using the Doona every day and our baby has always felt comfy and happy when we seat him in it. It’s very maneuverable and it has served its purpose for every use we have thought of for it. So here’s a short summary of use cases we’ve successfully checked:- Taking the baby to the restaurant for lunch and dinner: we have used it in car seat mode and kept him just by our side in long benches in restaurants or as a stroller (with the brakes on) and replacing a seat at the table with it. It’s compact enough to avoid people getting in close proximity to its wheels, unlike most strollers.- Taking the baby on a ferry: Yes! It worked wonderfully in car seat mode for this. And the baby really likes traveling since his first day out (really thanks to the Doona... remember the baby adapts to your lifestyle instead of otherwise, if you choose to do so).- Using Uber: We’ve taken the baby on more than 50 rides and all drivers -really, all of them- were impressed at how easy it was for us to get him in and out of the car, converting from stroller to car seat and back to stroller in an easy operation. Just tell your Uber they don’t need to get off the car to open the trunk or help handling the stroller, because it’s instantly a car seat. It has made our life out of home really easy.- Taking the baby to the beach: just convert to car seat and carry it with the handle and then pop out the wheels when you hit your palm tree spot. The integrated shade helps keep the baby comfortable but we go extra cautious and always put a blanket covering the top of the Doona so no mosquitoes or too much sun and wind gets in. There’s an official sunshade but we found it easy to go the cheap way since we didn’t get the sunshade along and didn’t want to wait for shipping times.- Taking the baby to the movies: Yes! Believe it or not, babies like Avengers even if it’s a three hour long movie. We just put the Doona in car seat mode and voilà! Just check the baby for signs of wet diaper and maybe go to change it once through the movie to avoid crying. Remember to seat close to the aisles or next to the handicapped seats and you’ll enjoy your movie date once again and not having to wait for years to go back to the cinema. Actually having done this helped us emotionally since we found out we still can do things we like.- Taking the baby on a plane: Oh, yes... we had an international flight at week 5 and we felt like a “moving Kodak picture spot/opportunity” everywhere through the airport. It was so easy to get to narrow or crowded places and there are two ways of traveling with it: 1. Taking it to the gate and unloading the baby right at the plane’s door and the airline will take care of it and put it with the cargo and then deliver it back when you get out of the door so you can keep using it through customs and luggage pick up without having to hold the baby the whole time. And... 2. Getting a seat for your baby that you can take the Doona on board because it’s certified for air travel... We chose option 1 and saved some money for diapers and baby formula. And it was by far the easiest to use stroller/seat we saw (and the airline staff said that too). There were other babies on both planes we took and honestly they weren’t having as good time as we were.- Taking the car seat through TSA check... easy... it goes through the X-ray machine in car seat mode, flipped upside down. Just the right size for that.- Taking the baby to doctor’s appointments: waiting rooms sometimes get crowded and we were happy our Doona didn’t take as much space, avoiding making other people uncomfortable. During an appointment I found out another “mode” for the Doona that I’ve never seen in reviews or elsewhere: just retract the wheels to put it in car seat mode and leave it in the floor. Surprisingly, it works like a rocking chair! Really, just try it when you get yours and be amazed at that “rocking chair” mode. I’ve never seen so many “WTF” faces around before.- Getting in and out of elevators with one hand: just retract the handle and put it upright and it will take the less space possible. It’s so easy to do.- Going shopping: it’s so small and flexible you can take it to the outlets and feel like a “Kodak picture spot/opportunity” once again (actually someone mentioned that while I retracted the Doona to climb some stairs and avoiding a long ramp other parents where going through slowly (hence the photo op... a line of parents wasting time and only one avoiding the traffic jam). Now we’re in month 5 and while most of this review was written during the first two months, nothing has changed and we’re happy we went the Doona way. We removed the newborn insert just before month 3 and baby didn’t even notice the change.Short summary: we have been happy parents thank to Doona.

I love this thing. Is it on the heavy side? Yes. (Get a work out, mama. Build those guns.)Is it compact? Yes and when you’re 5’2 that’s a Godsend.Stylish? Yes! I get so many compliments.Easy to use? Beyond! I don’t think I could go back to a regular car seat and stroller. It’s absolutely amazing. I’m moving to an over populated city that has some crazy weather conditions. So I wanted something to be fast and efficient whether it’s because of rain or a weird person nearby.Does it feel safe? I feel very comfortable having my little bundle tucked inside this car seat whether it’s for a quick drive to pick up prescriptions or a long move to our new home.

I discovered the Doona when Eva Shockey had her first child, and fell in love with it. When I was pregnant with our first child, I was determined to make sure it was a worthy investment because of the price. I researched countless articles, read countless reviews from multiple sites, watched YouTube videos on them and drove 2 hours away to see one in person. I took the plunge and bought one and have absolutely no regrets. It has been the best baby tool out of everything. It would be my number one pick out of all the “baby must haves”. At first it may be a little tricky to use, but you quickly get a custom to the ease of use this is. Was wonderful for holidays getting in and out, always going somewhere. Was wonderful for shopping, I would usually drive the shopping cart around while my husband would push the car seat stroller while we got groceries, he loved being able to do that. We have a very on the go lifestyle and it has been wonderful. We live in a rural area and it is still super handy. I have even pushed him around in my back yard with the stroller feature. It’s an impressive little thing. Worth getting! Save money and get this. Now how long it lasts depends on how quickly your baby grows. Some people in reviews were still using it after 1 year. I know that will not be the case for us. Our son is almost 7 months old and he wears 9-12 mo clothing. He is still in safety standards of being able to use the Doona, but he is getting very heavy to lift into the car. Which is okay for me but I know that doesn’t work for everyone, for some that was there biggest complaint. Even if the Doona only last us 7 months, it doesn’t change how I feel on the Doona. I love it extremely, look forward to using it again with our next baby. I will tell everyone that this is the best baby purchase there is, you won’t regret it. Do yourself a favor and splurge on this gem!

HOLY MOLY. BEST BEST BEST single item I’ve ever gotten in the last 20 years with all my kids. New baby after 18 years and wow best invention. Snaps up and down easily from stroller to car seat and vice versa. Easy in aisles, restaurants airplanes etc. my baby likes to nap in this and be pushed back and forth. She’s a premie and petite so I will have this up till she’s 35 pounds which will take a while. Insert for newborns support, canopy over head extends down, wheels are durable for long sidewalk speed walks, only $500 and when you do the math it’s same buying the two separate. Only thing I would change and it’s not even a fault, is that I wish I could turn baby around to face forward while as a stroller. Brakes are cool and unique. I can tell it’s a European design. So cool 😎 and hip. Everybody sees it and loves it and asked about it from new moms to grandmas with grand babies coming. If you get one thing GET A DOONA. SAVE ALL THE SHOWRR MONEY AND GET A DOONA.

Love my Doona!! This thing is so convenient! Got it for my second baby and I love that I can just have a stroller at the push of a button! For dr. appointments, going to the store, even walking inside someone’s house from your car. You don’t have to lug the car seat around by carrying it! Best invention ever! Easy installation, the straps adjust easily so you can loosen and tighten each time you put them in! Smooth wheels as well! I must say, getting the car seat in and out of the car was tricky to learn at first, but pushing the button and then tilting the seat to the side and then lifting it did the trick. Also, it kind of sucks when you roll the wheels through puddles and then the wheels touch your arm or sleeve while putting the folded car seat into the car. Those are the only downsides I’ve seen. But still love it!

This should be the #1 gift request on any new moms registry. This is nothing short of genius & worth every single dollar!!!! I purchased this for my daughter after buying her a stroller/car seat duo & I wish I had known about the Doona beforehand but nevertheless, we can use it as a backup. The only thing I have an issue with is the accessories. For $500, this stroller should at the very least have come with the storage bag & the shade extender. I think I’ve purchased all of the extras with the exception of the wheel covers. You can’t go wrong having a Doona in your life!
